The reason I launched the Pint Sized Problems men’s group chat is that I believe men are increasingly being overlooked in today’s social landscape. While women, rightly so, have been empowered to have equal rights, voices, and opportunities, many men find themselves without guidance on their evolving roles. Male-centered psychology suggests that men today don’t need to embody the ‘alpha male’ stereotype in relationships, nor do they have to be the primary breadwinner. However, society often fails to provide a clear roadmap for navigating this new reality. Pint Sized Problems aims to create a space where men can explore their identity, redefine strength, and find purpose in ways that are authentic to them.

Pint Sized Problems is a male-centered psychology space where men can come together, engage in a men's group chat, and share what’s happening in their lives. By discussing common experiences, you'll quickly realize you're not the only one facing certain thoughts or challenges. The name Pint Sized Problems is intentional; we keep our conversations light and focused on the here-and-now, steering clear of delving into the past.

I’m a qualified counsellor based in Newton Abbot, specializing in male-centered psychology. My goal is simple: to help men feel empowered to move forward with confidence, knowing that past choices or experiences don’t define who they are today. I’m also studying and researching men’s mental health, and what I’ve discovered is shocking. The statistics, the outdated beliefs, and the old expectations we and others still carry are concerning. Did you know men die by suicide at a rate five times higher than women? More than 96% of men are in prison while women make up only 4%. These aren’t just numbers; they’re signs that something isn’t working for men in today’s world. I’m not starting this men's group chat to rise up against women. I’m starting it to give men a space to understand themselves better, their role, their new role, their direction, purpose, or simply a sense of peace with their thoughts, feelings, and beliefs, even when dealing with pint-sized problems.

Pint Sized Problems isn’t a business or a charity, and it doesn’t cost a thing. All I ask is that you: Are male, show respect to everyone in the group, and bring your thoughts, a sense of humour, and maybe a couple of quid for a pint afterwards. This male-centered psychology initiative encourages open discussions and camaraderie among peers in our men's group chat.
When and Where
Starting from the 24th September! We meet on Wednesdays from 7–9 PM at The Maltings Taphouse, upstairs in the function room. To start, the group is limited to 10 guys to keep it relaxed and simple, but if interest grows, we will expand.
🎯 Around the World Darts Tournament
Where every number is a destination and the dartboard is your globe!
🌍 Why “Around the World”?
Imagine the dartboard as a miniature planet. Each number from 1 to 20 is a stop on your global adventure. Your mission? Travel to every destination in order, then land the final shot at the bullseye to claim victory.
🕹️ How to Play
• Each player gets three darts per turn.
• Your goal is to hit numbers 1 through 20 in sequence, followed by the bullseye.
• You must hit the current target number to move forward. Miss it? Your turn ends, and you’ll retry that number on your next go.
• If you hit multiple correct numbers in order, you’ll pick up where you left off next turn.
• Example: Hit 1 and 2, miss 3 → next turn, you aim for 3.
• The first player to complete all 20 numbers and hit the bullseye wins the game and the pot!
This isn’t just about hitting numbers; it’s about hitting pause on the everyday grind.
The Around the World darts tournament is designed to promote men’s mental health through male-centered psychology in a fun, friendly, and low-pressure environment. It’s a chance to connect, laugh, and experience what Pint Sized Problems offers:
• A welcoming space for honest conversation
• Emotional support without judgment
• Playful tools for exploring your thoughts, feelings, and patterns
• Strategies for growth, connection, and positive change
Whether you’re here for the competition or the camaraderie, every throw is a step toward something deeper. And who knows, your next bullseye might just lead to emotional clarity in your men’s group chat.
